Factors to Consider
Short Description
An alarm system to alert a carer that a person has fallen without the person being required to activate the alarm. It consists of a tilt switch and timer delay. The alarm is worn on a belt or attached to the leg above the ankle. The alarm radio signal is set off when the person is no longer in an upright position. The delay allows the person to bend over without initiating the alarm.

It is recommended that the timer delay is set at 20 seconds.
