Dorking Stocking and Sock Aid

Factors to Consider
Suitable for a user who cannot bend to their feet due to poor trunk control or reduced range of movement in their lower limbs.

Short Description
A flexible thin polythene stocking and sock donner, which adopts a curved shape when the stocking or sock is placed over it. Two cotton tape loop handles allow the stocking and sock aid to be pulled up. Also available as a pantihose aid which is a double shaped plastic sheet.

Method Of Use
Method of Use
1. The stocking or sock is pulled far enough over the aid to keep the foot of the stocking or sock entirely smooth, with the heel underneath.
2. The leg of the stocking or sock is gathered in the notches at the top of the donner.
3. The device is placed on the floor with the help of the tape.
4. The foot is inserted into the device, which is pulled up over the heel and toward the knee using the tape.
5. Stocking or sock is easier to put on if the foot or aid is powdered with talcum powder
