Batty Sock and Stocking Aid

Factors to Consider
Suitable for a user who cannot bend to their feet due to poor trunk control or reduced range of movement in their lower limbs.

Short Description
A fawn plastic appliance consisting of a pivoting sock and stocking applicator and handle, with a built in shoe horn and sock and stocking removal hook. The appliance comes in four pieces and requires assembly as either a right or left hand model before use.

Method Of Use
Method of Use
1. Lay the aid on a flat surface, and with the heel of the sock facing the bracket stretch the top of the sock over the applicator.
2. Continue pulling the sock down until the toe is visible.
3. Lower the aid to the ground, grasp the handle, place the foot into the toe of the sock and gently pull.
4. Further pulling on the handle unrolls the sock smoothly over the foot and calf as the hinged application is drawn up the leg.
