Short Description
A slip resistant, waterproof floor pressure mat designed for use in healthcare facilities. It is placed on the floor next to the bed on the side closest to the door or toilet and activates the nurse call or pager system when pressure is applied. The alarm sound at the nurse's station so there is no noise in the bedroom. It is powered by the facility's nurse call system. Double adaptors are available so that the normal nurse call button can be used in addition to the Pelican alarm.
