Short Description
This alarm system consists of a portable Informer-Mate control unit coupled with chair and bed sensor pressure pads. The control unit is a battery-operated device that sounds an audible alarm when someone leaves a bed, chair or wheelchair. When used for a chair or wheelchair the control unit is mounted on the back of the chair or wheelchair and a pressure sensor pad is placed on the seat. When used for a bed the control unit is mounted on or near the bed and a sensor pad is placed across the width of the bed beneath the sheets and overlays or under the mattress, depending on the model.
