Short Description
A door monitoring alarm unit and a wristband transmitter. When wearer leaves specified area covered by transmitter, an alarm is set off. Designed for use in situations where people may wander.

Components
Wristband module
This attaches to wrist of wandering resident as hospital identification.
The wristband is only removable by cutting off.
Inside the wristband module are electronic components and a battery that lasts 3 months after which it is replaced with a fresh unit.
The module is waterproof for bathing of wearer.
Door sensor unit
This is attached to the wall near the door and plugs into a standard power point. Battery back up is available for operation in event of power failure.
The unit is activated and sounds an alarm when a resident wearing a wristband uses the exit.
The alarm remains on until manually reset.
Optional extras
Remote nurse station
Where nurse station is some distance from monitored door, the remote nurse station receives a radio signal from the door sensor.

To monitor exit gates.
Wireless and battery powered.
