Factors to Consider
The tilt in space feature is fit on a curved tracking, and this reduces the length of the overall frame. This feature may make it easier to move the wheelchair in more confined spaces.
Short Description
This tilt in space wheelchair for children features a rigid growing frame. It is able to grow in seat width and depth in the choice of two size ranges. The tilt in space mechanism is on a curved tracking reducing the overall length of the frame. It is standardly available with transport tie down options. The seating includes a seat pan, cushion and Invacare Personal Back. This wheelchair was previously the Invacare Solara Jr.

More Details
Models
The Spree GT is available with a seat depth and seat width range of 305mm to 406mm.
Alternatively the Spree GT is available with a seat width range of 355mm to 457mm, and seat depth range of 380mm to 482mm.
Frame
Rigid frame in a choice of 21 colours.
Rear tie down brackets are included for transport.
Tilt In Space
This mechanism is designed to keep the centre of gravity of the child almost stationary throughout the 55 degree tilt range.
An indicator shows the degree of tilt.
Seat
Available with a solid seat pan and cushion.
The seat pan can be either a flush or drop mounted aluminium pan.
There is the option of a seat positioning strap with either hook and loop, an airline style buckle or push button buckle.
There is a choice of floor to seat heights.
Backrest
There is the choice of two backrest heights.
The backrest canes can be either fixed in position or fold down.
A reclining backrest is optional.
A reclining headrest extension and pillow support is optional.
A chest positioning strap is available which secures with either hook and loop, an airline style buckle or a push button buckle.
A width adjustable rigidizing bar is available for the rear of the backrest.
A push handle bar can be mounted behind the backrest in either adjustable angle or non adjustable rigidizing versions.
Armrests
Cantilever non locking bolt on armrests are standard.
The cantilever non locking bolt on armrests are also available in desk and full length options.
Single post armrests in either desk or full length are also available.
Legrests
Swingaway footrests are standard. They are available in the choice of 60, 70 and 90 degrees. A 70 degree tapered footrest is also a standard option.
Optional legrests include lift off style, elevating, bilateral contracture footrests, centre pivot articulating legrests, and a contracture platform.
Options also include a calf strap, impact guards, longer slide tubes for height adjustment and an extension for the 90 degree legrests.
Footplates
Flip up composite footplates are standard.
Optional footplates include aluminum, extra large aluminum and adjustable angle flip up footplates.
Adjustable angle footplates are available with the bilateral contractual footrests.
Heel loops with or without ankle straps and toe loops are optional.
Wheels
305mm diameter composite rear wheels are standard.
Permanent axles are standard, but quick release axles are optional.
Urethane treaded tyres are standard, but pneumatic tyres and flat free inserts are optional.
Composite wheels are available in four other sizes, including spoke self propelling wheels with handrim options (aluminum or plastic coated).
Push or pull to lock brakes are standard.
Brakes with an extension are optional.
Castors
101mm diameter composite urethane castors are standard.
Castor options include semi pneumatic, composite urethane 3 spoke castors and aluminum urethane castors.
