Short Description
A roof mounted hoist designed to lift a folded manual wheelchair from the ground adjacent to the car upwards and onto a rack on the roof.

Features
The hoist consists of powder coated, rust proof zinc and an epoxy coated mild steel rack and a lifting strap operated through an electric winch powered via the car battery.
The hoist is clamped onto the vehicle's roof gutters. If there are no roof gutters a standard roof rack can be fitted and the hoist attached to it.
The lifting strap has a hook to allow attachment to the folded wheelchair. The chair is raised vertically until it is above the car roof then it is laid horizontally onto the rack where it is secured for travel. The lifting strap is rated up to 1300kg.
A clearance of one metre above the car roof is required for operation.
The hoist can be installed on either the passengers or drivers side seat.
