Short Description
The infrared headphone set consists of an infra-red transmitter and cordless headphones for use with a television, stereo, radio or other audio source which has a headphone jack socket.

More Details
The remote headphones provide mono sound from mono-audio sources. Powered by two "AAA" size batteries. The range of use is approximately 7 metres.

The battery operated infra-red transmitter plugs into the jack on the stereo or television set. The cordless receiver consists of over-the-ear headphones and independent volume control.

The infra-red headphone, enables a person with mild to moderate hearing loss, who does not use a hearing aid to have independent volume control of the television using cordless headphones.

If the television connection cuts out sound of the television, then a qualified television or electronics technician may be able to install a second jack.
