RUL 301A

Short Description
A range of electrically operated, steel framed lifters designed for use with manual and electric wheelchairs and scooters. Mounted underneath a vehicle floor. Three models and a various options are available.

Features
This lifter stows under the vehicle floor and the cassette is fitted under the chassis. It is suitable for use with most vans. It is powered through connection to the vehicle's 12 volt or 24 volt battery.

It features automatic electrical isolation, sealing of the stowage cassette to provide protection from rain and dust, and two powder coated steel handrails. The aluminium platform of the lifter has a slip resistant surface. The ramp stop is automatic and hydraulically operated. The bridge plate (the small ramp which connects the platform of the lifter to the ground) is mounted on the lift and is automatic on the RUL300 and RUL300A models, and manual and lipped on the RUL301A model.

The controls feature two push buttons for 'raise' and 'lower' (on the RUL300 model) and 'deploy/raise' and 'lower/stow' (on the RUL300/301A models).

The lifter comes with a standard hand pump.

Method Of Use
TO DEPLOY THE LIFT:
1. Open vehicle doors above lift to turn the lift on automatically.
2. The red lamp on the sounder box inside the rear doors will indicate that the lift is operational.
3. RUL300A/301A - using the 'up' button, bring the lift out of the cassette or RUL300 - lower the box cover using the side handle. Pull the lift out of the box, using the exposed yellow handles.
4. Use the 'up' button to raise the platform to a convenient height.
5. Unfold the platform extension using the yellow handle located on the left hand side.
6. Unfold and secure handrails
7. Manually raise the long bridge plate if fitted.
8. 'Lower' and 'Raise' the lift platform using the pendant switch controls.

TO STOW THE LIFT:
1. Raise platform to a convenient level, above stowage height.
2. Lower and stow handrails
3. Manually lower long bridge plate if fitted.
4. Using the yellow handle, fold the platform extension until it lies flat on the main platform.
5. RUL300A/301A - using the 'down' button, stow the lift inside the cassette or RUL300 - press the 'down' button until the lift stops at stowage height. Push the lift fully into the box using the yellow handles. Swing the box cover up until it locks shut.
6. Shut the vehicle doors (the lift will turn off automatically).


Models
Three models are available:

RUL300 Manual Model
The lift cassette is opened manually and the lift pulled out by the user. The lift is then operated by a two-button control which raises and lowers the platform.

RUL300A Semi-Automatic Model
Designed for frequent use. Operated from a two-button control which opens and closes the lift cassette;deploys and stows the lift; and raises and lowers the platform during use.

RUL301A Semi-Automatic Model
Same as RUL300A model, but features an extra long platform.
