STANDARD

This is an open scooter trailer with a grid mesh rear ramp. The trailer floor is checker plate style to provide better grip. Ramp is spring loaded to reduce the effort required to pivot the ramp up once the scooter has been loaded onto the trailer.

A metal bracket hinge is used as a central tie down point to secure the scooter while travelling. The spare wheel is stored on the draw bar in case of a flat tyre and a jockey wheel is provided to be used to keep the trailer horizontal when not attached to a vehicle towbar.

DELUXE

This larger model of trailer provides additional safety to scooter storage by fully enclosing the scooter.

The method of stabilising the scooter during transportation is using rubber stoppers behind the rear wheels (rather than tie down points). The ramp is raised and lowered by an electric motor, the switch for this is found on the side of the trailer. The electric motor and battery pack are self contained and located within the trailer.

Once an individual drives the scooter up the ramp into the trailer they leave the trailer by rotating their seat 180 degrees, dismounting at the rear of their scooter and then walking down the ramp. The trailer is constructed with internal grab rails, these are able to be customised to the individuals specifications. The trailer contains a mount intended to hold an individuals walking frame so it easy for them reach and use following dismounting the scooter.
