Summit Wheelchair Carrier with Ramp - ramp down

Short Description
A wheelchair carrier with a ramp that attaches to a car towbar and is designed for use with a manual folded wheelchair.

Features
This steel carrier has a ramp secured to it's rear by a metal pin. It fits onto a standard towbar.

The carrier can be used with self-propelling (large rear wheel) and push / transit (small rear wheel) folding manual wheelchairs.


Method Of Use
1. Remove pin securing ramp to carrier.

2. Place ramp so that the lip of the ramp hooks onto the side end of the metal frame.

3. Push the folded wheelchair up the ramp and secure to tie down points by straps.

4. Refasten ramp to original position located at the rear of the carrier.

Additional Comment
By law, the vehicle's number plate must be clearly displayed on the rear of the vehicle. Therefore, the number plate may need to be attached to the wheelchair and illuminated if used at night.
