Short Description
A lightweight, portable device used to assist with transfers in and out of a vehicle. Designed to assist with sliding and swivelling of the body.

Features
The device consists of two pads joined together at the rear, with slippery material in between to allow them to slide over each other. The device has an adjustable belt strap for securing it to the vehicle seat.
The top pad has handles on either side for a carer to assist the movement.
Method Of Use
Prior to use:
- Position the AutoSlide on the car seat with the smaller pad (the one without handles) on the bottom, with the rough side against the car seat.
- Secure the AutoSlide belt around the car seat and tighten it.
Operation:
- Slide the upper pad forward, and rotate it so that the edge which is usually facing forward, is facing out of the car.
- Sit on the pad from standing with both feet outside the vehicle.
- Swivel around and slide your bottom back into place on the seat. The slippery surface between the two pads will decrease the friction usually experienced with this motion. A carer can use the handles on either side of the upper pad to assist this motion.
- Once in position, fasten the seat belt of the car around the user.
