Short Description
A range of slip resistant stair nosings available in a range of styles and colours to suit a range of applications. They are designed to provide slip resistance, and (where an appropriate colour is chosen) colour contrast.

The stair tread nosings are available in a range of styles to suit both indoor and outdoor applications. The upper surface (tread) has inserts of silicon carbide mineral granules for both light and heavy duty applications. Some nosings are available in mitered joints and curved on a radius. Bevelled edges can be requested. They are available in safety colours, such as safety yellow.
Models
Asbraloy Slip Resistant Safety Stair Tread Nosing (small profiles) -
These have an aluminium construction. They are available in a range of colours including safety yellow and a range of profiles. Sections can be combined for complete stair or landing coverage. Models are available to suit installation on tiles, concrete paving and timber decking. The standard length is 4600mm.
Asbraloy Safety Stair Tread Nosings (large profiles) -
Customisation of length and width is available, although standard length is 4600mm. It is constructed from aluminium and suits extra heavy duty applications. It is designed to cover the depth of steps and landings. For all heavy duty and light applications the tread is filled with slip resistant Suregrip silicon carbide mineral granules or Supragrit infill. The standard infill colour is black. It is available with an optional -
(a) Lumo luminescent (pale green) on front visual bar only which temporarily glows in the dark after exposure to light (internal use only); or
(b) Safety yellow visual strip on the front bar only.
Asbrabronz Solid Brass Stair Tread Nosings
Brass stair nosings filled with slip resistant Suregrip silicon carbide mineral granules for light and heavy duty applications. The standard infill is brown, however other colours can be specified. There is a brushed finish, unless a polished or mill finish is requested. The standard length is 4600mm. Customisation of length is available on request with fixing holes.
It is available for cast in installation and with an optional -
(a) Lumo luminescent (pale green) on front visual bar only which temporarily glows in the dark after exposure to light (internal use only); or
(b) Safety yellow visual strip on front bar only.
