Short Description
A programmable lighting management system suitable for commercial, industrial or residential situations. Utilises telephone wire (rather than mains wiring) to link devices in the home such as switches, timers, dimmers, motion detectors, temperature sensors. Also equipment with infrared control capabilities (audio visual equipment and air conditioning). Able to be linked to other Clipsal systems, allowing full integration of other functions, such as the home alarm, reticulation etc. Initially programmed and managed via a C-bus-2 control unit.

More Details
The system is programmed via a wall mounted touchscreen (C-Touch), an infrared wall plate, and internet access software (Homegate). The C-Touch is a touch sensitive LCD screen with soft touch keys. The screen features graphics, which allow the user to identify and control all functions. The infrared wall plate enables the system to control any third party equipment which has infrared control capabilities (audio visual equipment and air conditioning). Control is also enabled from any PC with internet access.
The C-Bus system includes an occupancy sensor - therefore any movements (body heat) detected by the sensor will issue commands to the C-Bus unit. This enables lighting, audio visual equipment etc to be programmed to go on / off as a person enters or leaves a room. The occupancy sensor also includes a light level sensor.
A range of switches and cover edges are available. It can manage various types of lights, including fluorescent, incandescent, low voltage and high Intensity.
Models / Styles
Previous model (C-Bus) was commissioned and managed via a PC. The C-Bus-2 is compatible with the previous model, and it can be programmed via a PC (and associated software) if desired.
Options
Standard 2000 Series switches
A large range of standard switches. Available in a range of colours. Each key can be programmed to achieve various functions, including toggle switch, dimmer control, timer etc. Available in 1, 2 and 4 gang configurations.
Reflection switch
A stainless steel switch plate which features blue LED status indicators. Plate can be engraved. Available in 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 gang configurations.
The Reflection range can control and combination of C Bus output devices including C Bus Relays, Dimmers and Analogue output units.
Each key can be programmed to achieve various functions, including toggle switch, dimmer control, timer etc.
Can be programmed before or after installation.
Saturn switch
A glass switch plate that features round, tactile switch buttons and blue or orange LED display which provides illumination and status feedback. Enables control of electrical loads such as lighting and air conditioning.
The Saturn range can control and combination of C Bus output devices including C Bus Relays, Dimmers and Analogue output units, including all electrical devices connected to the C Bus system.
Available in 2, 4 and 6 gang configurations.
Can be programmed before or after installation.
Neo C Bus Switches
Available in square or rectangular with an optional cover for labelling switches. Available with 2, 4 or 8 keys per plate. Programmed as dimmers, timers, on / off toggles switches and scene switches. Has LED status display and a night light option. As there is an infrared component can be remote controlled. This switch unit can also be programmed to be automated and 'smart' (responsive to environmental changes - heat, light).
Installation
