Short Description
A rubber and cork blend tactile ground surface indicator available in tiles. Available in formats for potential hazard indicator (raised dots) and direction of travel indicator (raised rows). The flooring is available in a range of colours.

The tiles are available as Type B, hazard indicators and Type C, directional indicators.
They are available in black, yellow, blue, terracotta and grey.
The tiles are slip resistant and suitable for dry and wet areas on both indoor and outdoor pedestrian access areas.
Installation
Tiles must be installed professionally. They can be installed to be flush with the adjacent ground surface, eg carpet, or adhered on top of any hard surface.
When used as tactile ground surface indicators, they must be installed according to requirements specified in AS 1428.4 Design for access and mobility - Part 4: Tactile ground surface indicators for the orientation of people with vision impairment.

The manufacturer reports this product conforms to all aspects of AS1428.4 - 1992 (certificate not sighted by ILC).
Tiles must be layed in accordance with the above standard and comply with the 30% luminance contrast to the adjacent ground surface.
