Short Description
A range of wall mounted, folding shower seats, consisting of a stainless steel frame and a slatted aluminium or solid acrylic seat. Available in four models and able to be customised.

More Details
The shower seat is attached to the wall by 2 or 3 tubular, satin finished, stainless steel brackets. The seat folds down and is supported by the bracket. The seat is available in four models, one of which has folding, front support legs. When folded the seat folds up against the wall. There is a spring loaded hinge which supports the seat in the vertical position.
Seat surfaces include white, powder coated aluminium slats and solid transparent acrylic.

Cat No 1620 : Wall mounted powder coated aluminium slatted seat
Cat No 1623 : Wall mounted, extended length seat with powder coated aluminium slats
Cat No 1625 : Wall mounted, clear acrylic seat with front support legs
Cat No 1630 : Wall mounted, clear acrylic seat


Options
-stainless steel brackets and legs can be powder coated

Installation
It must be installed by a qualified tradesperson. The seat must be secured appropriately to masonry or wall studs.

Shower Seats in Public Buildings
In any building which the Building Code of Australia requires compliance with AS1428.1, the fastenings, materials and construction of the seat must be able to withstand a force of 1100 N to comply with AS1428.1. The seat must be installed 470-480 mm above floor level

In a private residence the seat can be installed at a height to suit the individual requirements of the user.

Cleaning Requirements
Avoid use of acidic or citrus cleaning agents as they can react with stainless steel. The manufacturer recommends use of a stainless steel cleaning agent.
