Short Description
A pair of pruning secateurs which operate on a ratchet cutting mechanism, requiring minimum effort to cut thick stems and branches.

More Details
The secateurs are most suited to soft grained woods and cut stems up to 20mm in thickness. The guillotine cutting edge is made of teflon coated steel and the handles are from heavy duty plastic. The metal screws are protected by a plastic clip off cover.
Method Of Use
Open the cutting jaws as far as possible with the black blade uppermost and the fingers comfortably placed into the circular side of the handle Feed the branch or stem into the jaws as far as possible. Apply the pressure until ratchet "clicks". Release the pressure then apply pressure again until the "click" sound, repeat as before two or three times until cut is complete.
