More Details
The carrier consists of a mounting plate which can remain bolted onto the tow bar and a framework which slides into this, secured by a ring pin, which supports the wheelchair.

The framework is made from zinc plated tubular steel and can either be folded up or removed from the tow bar when not in use. When the carrier has been removed leaving the mounting plate on the vehicle, the tow bar can be used normally.

On removal of a securing pin, the framework can be tilted towards the ground to allow the wheelchair to be loaded by tipping the chair back onto its rear wheels and pulling the wheelchair into the frame, guiding it by the footplates.

Tie down points have been incorporated into the design.

Options
- A wire mesh base tray is used for the carrier for adult Transit Wheelchairs (Trans 7 - smaller wheels).
- Can be modified to take amputee wheelchair.
- Can be modified to for child's wheelchair.
