Short Description
A range of powered, folding platform lifts designed to lift a person seated in a powered or manual wheelchair or scooter in and out of a
van or bus. Mounts to the side of a vehicle. Five models are available.

More Details
The platform lift is constructed of epoxy coated stainless steel with a steel mesh platform. It has powered folding / unfolding and raise / lower functions. The lift folds up inside the door for storage. It does not obstruct the driver's view out any window.
The lift is powered by a hydraulic pump with manual hand pump and release valve if required.

Licence & Insurance Requirements
In Western Australia, Transport's Vehicle Examiners (Licensing Division) must approve modifications to vehicles, including installation of hoists. Providing the modifications meet all requirements, a modification permit will be issued and the cost of the permit may be waived for passengers and drivers with disabilities.
To ensure Insurance cover, the vehicle owner should advise their Insurance company of the approved vehicle modifications.
