Short Description
A manual or power swivel seat base which is designed to move the occupant through a 90 degree turn into or out of a vehicle. Can be used with the vehicle's original seat, or with a low profile seat such as the RECARO or BEV.

The swivel base is constructed from steel. This is mounted onto a mounting bracket which has a low height and is attached to the vehicle floor / chassis. Can be installed on the driver or passenger side of the vehicle. However, The Turnout seat does raise the height of the seat and in some makes of vehicles it is not suited to the driving position.
The low BEV seat, is mounted on the swivel base. The BEV seat is designed for maximum leg and head space.
To install the Turnout, changes to the car are minimal and can easily be restored when it is time to replace the car. The device can also be transferred to the next car.
Models / Styles
Two models are available - a manual and powered model.
Turnout 2 is designed for cars with two doors; and
Turnout 2E is designed for cars with two doors. Electrically operated.
Turnout 4 is designed for cars with four doors.
Turnout 4E is designed for cars with four doors. Electrically operated.
Both models can be installed in the majority of vehicles models available on the market. Both Turnout 2 and Turnout 4 can be mounted on the driver or passenger side.
Method Of Operation
Manual Operation
1. Park vehicle with sufficient clearance on the side of the vehicle.
2. Adjust seat lengthwise to avoid the Turnout hitting the centre console.
3. Raise the release lever to begin turning.
4. Hold the seat to turn it out. Release the lever and it will lock automatically in the turned out position.
5. Use the seat's lengthwise adjustment to pull the seat further out, if required.
Power Operation
1. Park vehicle with sufficient clearance on the side of the vehicle.
2. Adjust seat lengthwise to avoid the Turnout hitting the centre console.
3. Press down the left button to turn the seat outward. Seat will automatically stop when in the turned out position.
4. A 2 second delay will prevent the control being reactivated immediately.
5. Use the seat's lengthwise adjustment to pull the seat further out if required.
