More Details
This hoist consists of a vehicle floor mounted plate, onto which is mounted the lifting arm. The hoist has three pivot points which allow good maneuverability, from wheelchair into the vehicle seat. The hoist spreader bar has four attachment points for the sling. One sling in a choice of three sizes is available with the hoist.
The hoist lifts electrically using the hand held control, the user or attendant controls the horizontal movement (in and out of vehicle doorway) manually.
The hoist is suitable for use in two or four door vehicles. Can be used on the driver's or passenger's side, or both, or can be used on the back seat in most four door cars or vans.
This equipment can be adapted to allow an insert with the person to be transferred into the car simultaneously.
This lift is transferable by between cars by purchasing an extra bolting system.

Features
MOUNTING is via a plate, which is fixed to the vehicle floor, adjacent to the door frame. This can be removed and transferred to a new vehicle if required and extra mounting posts can be purchased to enable the hoist to be moved between vehicles. The lifting arm is length adjustable to suit all cars and people.

INSTALLATION takes approximately 6 hours.

SLINGS A range of slings is available in a range of sizes. Each sling has four points of attachment. Each attachment strap is adjustable.

TRAVEL: The hoist can be left in position at the side of the seat whilst driving but the extension and spreader arms should be removed.

ELECTRICAL CONTROLS: are hand held on an extendable lead, with two switches: on / off and up / down. The control can attach to the hoist with hook and loop tape if required.
