Short Description
A mobile, electric or hydraulic hoist specifically designed for transfers from bed to bath, shower, toilet and wheelchair. User sits in the hoist sideways to the direction of movement.

The frame of the hoist is made from epoxy coated steel and the seat and backrest are made from polypropylene.
The lifting boom of the hoist forms the frame of the seat onto which the two removable sections of the seat are attached. The backrest and hand grip form the steering handles and can be folded out of the way to allow the user to be transferred from either side.
An adjustable safety strap can be fastened around the user's chest.
The seat unit is height adjustable. Four bolts on the mast can be removed and the seat unit adjusted to notches located at 50mm intervals along the mast. The lowest notch enables the seat to reach the floor, and the highest notch raises the seat 400mm from the floor.
The seat and backrest can be removed for disinfection. These parts are heat resistant up to 100 degrees celsius.
The hoist has a non adjustable U shaped base. The rear castors have foot operated brakes.
Features
HYDRAULIC:
CONTROLS consist of a hand pump which is located at the top and back of the lifter. The seat is lifted by the hand pump, and lowered by pressing a button on the pump.
ELECTRIC:
CONTROLS are hand held on a remote control unit, which allows the seat to be raised and lowered. The remote control can be hung on the electric unit. A battery pack is incorporated into the mast.
ACCESSORIES available include bedpan, leg straps, extra cushion, legrest and shampoo basin.
