Short Description
A modified version of the Glide 3 adult wheelchair which has a reclining backrest. This self propelled wheelchair features a folding, stainless steel frame available in a range of sizes and a complete range of options.

More Details
The wheelchair has a folding frame with slung vinyl upholstery. The headrest extension comes in a range of heights, and the seat in a range of widths.
The sling backrest and sling headrest extension have 6 angle adjustments and reclines to 60 degrees. The mechanism is operated by bike style brake levers and cables connected to the hinged backrest.
The backrest extension is removed to fold the chair.
Features
UPHOLSTERY is a blue vinyl slung seat and backrest.
REAR WHEELS are 610mm(24") diameter pneumatic tyres with stainless steel push rims.
FRONT CASTORS are 180mm(7") diameter disc castors.
ARMRESTS are padded, removable.
LEGRESTS elevate to 90 degrees, swing away and are detachable.
BRAKES are stainless steel toggle brakes.
FRAME Stainless steel with an extended wheelbase. The square aluminium tubing crossbar folding mechanism has a lock out action to maintain the tautness in the seat and backrest upholstery. Tipping bars at rear.
BACKREST A removable aluminium framed headrest slots into the backrest. The backrest reclines using cable operated levers beneath the push handles. The backrest will remain fixed in any position once the cable brakes are released.
