Short Description
A steel framed, rear wheel drive, self propelled wheelchair with a folding lightweight frame. It is available in a range of sizes for both children and adults and has a range of options and accessories. It can be customised.

More Details
This chair has a stainless steel frame with an aluminium crossbar folding mechanism and lock out action to maintain firmness in the seat and backrest upholstery. A choice of upholstery types are available with an option of additional reinforcing. A coloured frame is standard in childrens sizes but is an optional extra in adult sizes (400mm seat width upwards). The chair folds flat for transport and storage - removable armrests and footplates are standard with quick release wheels being an optional extra.

Features
REAR WHEELS - one wheel size with pneumatic tyres is standard for adult sizes - 610mm(24"). For seat width sizes of 37cm and below, 500mm(20") wheels are fitted. Quick release hubs, and wheels without push rims are available as an option. Standard push rims are stainless steel in either 15mm(0.5") or 20mm(0.75") diameters.

FRONT CASTORS - 180mm(7") plastic spoked castors is standard. Microcellular castors are optional.

FOOTPLATES - are all full sized and made of aluminium or plastic with stainless steel adjustable footrest stems. One piece plates or two plates with no gap in between can be ordered. The footrests swing away and are detachable. Calf straps are standard.

ARMRESTS - full length, removable and with press button release mechanism are standard.

BRAKES - are push on, lever style with a knob grip.

UPHOLSTERY - Black vinyl upholstery or can be made in cordura if preferred.

G3 Adult Chair: G3-40, G3-43, G3-46, G3-49 G3-52. Seat depth of 40cm standard. RB indicates reclining backrest.
Also available in Heavy Duty frame.

Glide Series 3 Children Chairs:
Bambino (BA) -
BA30 30cm seat width x 26cm seat depth
BA34 34cm seat width x 33cm seat depth
BA37 37cm seat width x 35cm seat depth
Designed for smaller children, with shorter seat depth. Front castors are located under the footplates. Footplate hangers are 90 degrees.

Cadet (CA)-
CA34 34cm seat width x 33cm seat depth
CA37 37cm seat width x 35cm seat depth
Designed for slightly older or larger child. Swing away, angled footplates.

In the code numbers the letters refer to the model and the numbers refer to the seat width. For example, BA30 refers to a Bambino with 30cm seat width.
