Short Description
A set of four castors designed to be fitted to the KDB Deluxe commode and Hilite chairs to make them mobile. Two castors comprise one base and there are two bases per set. They replace the existing inner sleeve of the chair / commode. The attachment component is constructed of steel and the 50mm castor has a foot operated brake.

They are not designed to enable the chair / commode to be used as a mode of transport, but to allow movement short distances, e.g. to facilitate transfers; to reposition an individual within a room etc.
Installation
They are attached to the chair / commode, by firstly removing the inner sleeve of the chair / commode legs. Insert the legs of the base - the castors are attached to the base. The castors raise the chair by an additional 50mm. The chair legs remain adjustable, however the lowest height adjustment will be at least 50mm higher than on the original chair. The range of height adjustment is reduced.
