A belt for use on lounge or wheelchairs to prevent the user falling or sliding out of the chair.

More Details
The belt is made from blue webbing and has buckles at the side of the user. The straps which attach to the belt are used to affix it to the back of the chair. Depending on the user's individual sitting position , the belt can be worn around the pelvic rea, on the waist or above the waist. Shoulder straps may be also be added to the chairbelt if needed.

Additional Information
The item is considered to be a safety item not a restraint since the buckles can be undone by the user. The buckles are not authorised for use in a motor vehicle i.e. car or in coach and if used in these vehicles the manufacturers cannot be held liable.The chairbelt should not be secured to the removable arms on wheelchairs.
