Short Description
A range of electrically operated, steel and wooden framed, fully upholstered lounge chairs with reclining backrest, elevating legrest and stand up function. The seating system of the chairs feature air filled bags in the seat, backrest and legrest. There are 4 models, two with castors as standard.

More Details
Each of the four models have the same contoured backrest consisting of two sections, but have varying seat and armrest designs.Two of the models have lockable castors as standard.

The seating is comprised of an air filled, welded PVC bag encased in a foam cushion.Air filled bags and bonded polyester cushions are also used in the backrest sections and legrest area.

The reclining and standing mechanism is operated by a hand held control on an extendable cord which can be mounted on the left or right side. When moved into the reclining position, the legrest will automatically move up to support the legs as the backrest reclines. The legrest returns to the normal position when the chair moves into the standing position. In the standing position, the chair lifts the person up and tilts them slightly forward. Releasing the switch will automatically stop the chair at any position.

Features
SEAT - The air bag in the seat is encased within a foam base and covered by a layer of slow recovery foam. The front edge of the foam base has an extra layer of bonded polyester.

BACKREST - The air bags in the two sectioned contoured backrest are also covered by bonded polyester. The backrest can be lifted from the frame of the back of the chair to gain access to the back of each cushion section. A zipper at the back of each section allows access to the air bags. Each air bag has a valve and stopper, enabling the amount of air in each backrest section to be altered if overfilled. Once adjusted, the backrest cushioning is secured at the base and top of the backrest by hook and loop. The backrests of some models are wing backed.

CHAIR ACTION - The models on castors have a "wallsaver" action allowing the chair to be placed close to the wall. This is suitable for living arrangements where space is a problem. When moved into the reclining position, the legrest raises to support the legs as the chair base moves forward. When the legrest is almost in the fully raised position, the backrest then reclines as the base continues to move forwards.
When the standup function button is pressed, the backrest will return to the normal upright position as the chair base moves backwards, and then the legrest returns to normal position before the seat begins to raise into the standup position.

ARMRESTS are full length on three of the models, two of these having wooden hand grips.

LEGREST is incorporated in the chair with a chaise and extends from the edge of the seat when in the raised position. The foot section of the legrest contains an air bag with a bonded polyester layer over the top.

UPHOLSTERY is available in a wide variety of fabrics including vinyl and a three way stretch fluid resistant fabric that is bacteria resistant and fire retardant treated. Combinations of fabrics is possible.

CONTROLS are hand held and can be located on either side of the chair. When not in use the controls can be stored in pockets on the outside of the chair for easy access.

CUSTOMISATION of the amount of support in the backrest is possible via adjustment of the amount of air in the backrest cushions.
Amount of air in the seat cushion may also be adjusted.

Models
AIRWING LIFT - a wingback chair with full length, firm padded armrests and wooden hand holds. No castors.
AIROLIFT LR1- a chair with full length firm padded armrests.No castors.
COMPACT LIFT - a mobile compact version of the Airwing Lift chair that is available in three sizes. A removable tray is available for this model only. Castors are standard on this model.
PREMIER LIFT - a mobile chair (castors standard) with padded overlays on three quarter length armrests.

Recliner only are also available with the same air bag system in the seat, backrest and legrest.

Options
Lockable castors for models where castors are not standard.
Upgrade of chair action to "wallsaver" action for models without this feature
Dual motor for Compact lift and Premier lift chairs - allowing independent backrest reclining and legrest raising. Chairs recline to fully horizontal position.

Warranty
Cloud Comfort products are guaranteed against manufacturing fault for a period of ten years (including air cushions). Recliner and lift mechanisms are covered by separate manufacturer's warranties.
