A device used to give improved grip on a door key and increase the leverage.
Materials required:
3mm(0.1") thick acrylic sheet
Two pieces 75mm(3") x 60mm(2.25")
One piece 60mm(2.25") x 38mm(1.5")
TENSOL 6 adhesive liquid, made by ICI Aust Ltd
The smaller piece of acrylic sheet is centred between the others and glued. The space either side of this central section is just deep enough to take the head of a key. A variation of this device is one where the key is permanently trapped between the acrylic sheets by means of a rivet.
When using adhesive, avoid contact with skin and excessive inhalation. Use a discarded eye dropper or other small tube to apply the adhesive and allow 2 - 3 hours setting time. There is no need to apply pressure to the assembly.
