Short Description
A tubular, stainless steel toilet support aid which fastens to the toilet. Two support bars fit under the seat and two lift back side support bars act as armrests on each side of the user. An optional front grabrail can be fitted. Height of support bars can be customised.

Frame is manufactured from stainless steel.
The toilet armrest frame has a mounting plate which enables it to be fixed to the seat mounting holes on the toilet pedestal.
The armrests can be left in place to provide support for the user to raise and lower themselves or the armrests can be lifted back to allow full access for sideway transfers or assisted lifting by carers.
An optional grab rail is available to provide support in front of the user. The horizontal rail fits over the ends of each armrest and is attached to the armrests using supplied screw fitting.
Models
A Junior model is available which is suitable for children and small adults.
Options
A removable front grabrail can be purchased. The rail slides onto the side supports and is fixed using incorporated screw bolts.
The height of the side supports can be customised.

Standards
The DARTS passed a static load test on the arms using the procedures of AS3696.8 for a user weight of one hundred kilograms, under NATA controlled conditions. Test certification has not been sighted by ILC WA.
