Factors to Consider
The labelled lids may be a visual cue to prompt individuals to take medication on the correct day.
Braille markings may be helpful as a tactile cue for individuals who read Braille.
Individual snap locks on each compartment enable only a single days medication to be removed without losing entire contents of organiser.
Undoing the snap lock closures requires manual dexterity between the thumb and forefinger and may prove difficult for some users.
Short Description
This medication organiser is divided into seven compartments for storing daily medication needs over a seven day period. It consists of a rectangular opaque plastic box with individual compartments. Each compartment has a snap lock lid, and is labelled with the first letter of the corresponding day as well as Braille markings. Sequence of days is Sunday to Saturday. Medium and large sizes are available.
