Parsons Toilet Aid

Factors to Consider
May assist users who have reduced arm length or limited arm movement and therefore have difficulty cleaning themselves after toileting.
For external use only.


Short Description
A Canadian made toilet aid with spring action jaws to secure and release the toilet paper. It is made of steel bent to a ninety degree angle with black plastic covering both ends. A white plastic contoured handle with finger indentations is used to hold the aid. A second steel handle is depressed to open the jaws.

Method Of Use
1. Tear off about 400mm of toilet paper.
2. Open jaws and wrap toilet paper loosely around one jaw.
3. Some movement of the toilet paper within the tongs is necessary.
4. It is held in place by the spring action.
5. Use tongs whilst seated on the toilet.
6. Depress the second handle with thumb to release the paper and drop into the toilet.
