SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Anywhere Rail Grab Bar is a portable grab rail with a suction cup pad at each end designed for use on smooth, air tight, non-porous surfaces. It fastens into place using suction when a lever at each end is pressed. A patented suction indicator changes colour when the rail is correctly attached. Other models of rail are available in the Anywhere Rail range.

If ‘Red’ appears check the mounting surface and re-attach.

Method of Use
Fitting
1. Clean surface with alcohol wipe and allow to dry.
2. Check the condition of the suction cups.
3. Do not used if damaged, cracked or split.
4. Raise both levers. Both suction cups should lie firmly and completely on a smooth surface.
5. Hold one end and press on one lever with the palm of the hand. There should be resistance as the suction cup tightens.
Removal
1. Lift each of the two levers.
2. If suction remains, gently lift one edge using a finger.
3. Do not use a sharp instrument which may damage the suction cup.

CONSIDERATIONS FOR USE
These rails use suction to maintain their position and hold on the wall. If placed onto tiles, this will only be as strong as the glue holding the tile. Caution should be taken if using these grabrails as it is unlikely they will be as secure as those that use mechanical fixings to suitably structured walls (as are recommended by AS1428.1 2001 in this situation).
The suction cups need to be mounted on smooth, air tight surfaces including some tiles, steel and porcelain. Refer to supplier instructions to ensure safe and proper installation.
