Factors to Consider
This product may be useful in situations where the user accidentally leaves the stove burners on after they have finished cooking.


Short Description
A gas timer and shut off valve that stops the flow of gas to the stove when the pre set time is up. Timer needs to be connected to the mains power supply at all times. Installation requires a gas fitter and an electrician and needs to be arranged by the consumer. One model only.

More Details
The gas will not flow to the stove if the the timer has not been pressed or the power is off or shut down.
The gas valve will shut off the gas supply when the pre set time has expired.
The stove timer is supplied with a default setting time of 10 minutes, but this can be changed by the electrician to the time range required.

Method Of Use
The stove timer should be installed on a wall near the stove so it is easily accessible for the user.
The button on the timer is pressed to open the gas valve and allow gas to flow to the stove.
The stove burner can then be turned on and lit.
Once the timers pre set time expires, it will turn off the gas to the stove.
The stove timer is supplied with a pre set default time of 10 minutes, but this can be changed by the electrician if a longer time range is required.


Installation
A licensed gas fitter is required to connect the mains gas supply and an electrician is required to connect the unit to a power source.
The consumer is responsible for arranging their own gas fitter and electrician.
