Factors to Consider
The user is required to push the top yellow button forward at the same time as depressing the black button. Manual dexterity is required.
An adaptor is required to be used with the charger to match the plug shape with Australian electrical points.
Used with the extension handle a user would be able to cut a grassed edge with out kneeling.




Short Description
Battery operated shears with two layered blades. One has four blades and one five. The contoured and closed handle has a slip resistant strip on the top and a yellow push switch at the top. A black button underneath is depressed at the same time as the yellow top switch is pushed forward to activate the blades. Two wheels can support and roll the shears for an edge at ground level. The wheels can be removed if the shears are cutting a hedge. A battery charger is included. A longer hedge blade is also available. A telescopic long handle is optional and the shears can be controlled from the handle.

Features
The blade can be changed by removing the black cover underneath the blade.
The charging point is at the back of the shears.
The blade head can be rotated 180 degrees by sliding the flat yellow button at the front of the shears.

Options
· An aluminium telescopic handle can be attached to the shears at the back of the handle.
· The yellow handle that encircles the shaft is turned to extend the handle length.

Method of Attachment of handle to shears.
1. Insert end in to aperture at the back of the shears.
2. Depress the red button.
3. Release the red button to secure the handle in place.
4. Alternatively the tool head can be pushed into place.
5. An audible click is heard when tool head is in position.

Safety and Maintenance
Refer to the supplier and manufacturer manual for maintenance instructions and safety warnings. With special reference to the recommendation that a user must not be under 16 years of age to use this tool. The shears must not be charged while being operated.
