ILC Reference NO 62:11:005
Item sourced from ILC VIC database

Main Picture

Factors to Consider
Keys may be obscured by the guard depending on the users angle of view.
Clients with low muscle tone or strength can rest their hands on the keyguard while typing.
Can assist in reduction of multiple simultaneous key depressions and unwanted key presses for clients with tremor or pointers.
The metal guard does not flex under pressure and may be suitable for users who exert high pressure onto the keyboard and guard.

Short Description
Keyguards are designed to fit over the computer keyboard and provide a divider between individual keys. This style of keyguard consists of a nylon coated metal plate with circular finger holes for all the keyboard keys. It is attached to the keyboard with velcro for easy removal and replacement. A keyguard assists in targeting keys and allows hands to rest or slide over top of the keyboard without activating any keys.
