Short Description
The Mini MessageMate is a small, electronic communication device. It can store eight messages using digitised (human recorded) speech. The device can be accessed directly by touching a key on the membrane keypad. Alternatively, it can be accessed by attaching eight separate switches. It has a sturdy metal case.

Visual Display
Customised paper overlays can be added with symbols or words to the 8 location membrane keypad.
The keys measure 32mm x 32mm, arranged in 2 columns of 4 keys.
The keys cannot be grouped into larger key patterns.

Accessing Options
The device is accessed directly or by attaching eight seperate switches, each switch activates one message.
Scanning is not available.
Keyguard is available as an optional accessory.

Memory
60 seconds of recording time available in total.

Programming
The device has simple programming involving a 4 step record/play procedure.

Batteries
The device has an internal rechargeable battery.
With typical use it lasts 4 to 8 weeks.
In standby it lasts approximately 2 months.

Other Specialised Features
The device has an alarm that is activated by holding any key for 20 seconds. The alarm will sound until the key is released.
