Item Details

iTalk2 Communicator - Enhanced

ILC Reference NO 61:04:002
Item sourced from ILC VIC database

iTalk 2 - enhanced

Factors to Consider
Multiple activations of the message cells do not affect playback of the message, assisting users with difficulty controlling their activations.
The device is robust and can withstand rough handling which makes it useful for people who want to use it across a number of settings (i.e., in the community).
Speech can be recorded in any language to suit people from a non-English speaking background.
Message cells provide both movement and auditory feedback when activated. This feature can provide support to users with physical and / or visual issues.
The on/off, levels and play/record switches are small. This may make it difficult for a user with visual or physical impairments to independently change the settings on the device.

Short Description
