Factors to Consider
Allows people who are lying supine in bed to read or watch television.
Short Description
A reading frame designed for use when lying in bed. The U shaped base slips under the mattress. A main column attaches to the base, which supports a platform for reading material. An arm supporting two mirrors can be added for people in traction or who are not able to move their heads.
More Details
The mirrors on the support arm can be rotated to increase the angle of vision to approximately 200 degrees.
The mirror is made of glass to give a distortion free image.
To reduce the risk of breakage the glass is glued to the plywood backing.
The image is not reversed as both mirrors are used.
The main column can be easily removed from the base. It is therefore not necessary to remove the base from the mattress when frame is not in use.
