Factors to Consider
This pool hoist can be removed from the side of the pool, and can be positioned at various points around the pool.
Short Description
An Australian made powered (battery) or manually operated (mechanical) pool hoist that can be mobile. A removable contoured plastic chair has armrests. A swing over armrest or seat belt is available for additional support. Also available with a sling jib, stretcher or a mobile shower chair to assist an occupant into and out of a pool. An alternative model is available for a spa. A range of options is available.
More Details
The hoist consists of a stainless steel mast and boom, which has a plastic, contoured seat attached. The removable seat has drainage holes in the seat base and backrest, and swing away arms to allow a side transfer.
The hoist can either be fixed with a plinth mount or portable with a leg mount base that is fitted with castors. It can be wheeled to another part of the pool or stored away.
The manually operated pool lift can be converted to a powered pool lift by removing the handle and inserting a powered drill.
The hoist is suitable for use with a below ground pool.
Models
Manually operated pool lift (model 9167) features an attendant operated winding mechanism. The handle is removable.
Battery powered pool lift (model 9167B) features a hand held control that can be occupant or attendant operated to raise and lower the seat.
