SHORT DESCRIPTION
A compact mobile, battery powered, electrically operated hoist that is suitable for use in domestic settings. Tilting frame or spreader bar options. Manual leg spread. An optional collapsible model dissassembles into four parts for transportation.

FEATURES
Features
The hoist has an epoxy coated steel frame.
There is a push handle attached to the mast.
The U shaped base is adjusted by a foot operated mechanism.
There are two lifting frame options, a standard spreader bar and a tilting frame.
A range of slings are available. The slings attach to the hoist by a key hole mechanism.
Castors are swivel type. 100mm( 4") castors on the front and rear, with lock on brakes on the rear.
Electric controls are hand held on an extendable cord, with a hook to allow attachment onto the hoist.
There is an emergency stop and lower button on the mast.
Power source is through a battery which is situated on the lower part of the mast. An audible warning signal is activated during use when the battery is reduced to 50% of capacity.
Battery recharging is achieved by removing the battery and connecting to the battery charger and connecting to a mains power point.
Dismantling the hoist is by releasing the locking mechanisms. The mast, boom and tilting frame detach from the base for ease of transportation of the hoist.
There is a safety feature in the form of an automatic cut out switch in the event of the boom encountering any resistance.

CONSIDERATIONS FOR USE
Use of the tilting frame to lift off the floor.
The tilting frame can be used to manouvre a person into upright position in a chair using the frame rather than physically pushing the person.
Footplate can be used to help reduce the force required to mobilise the hoist.
Small battery and charger for use in the home.
