Factors to Consider
There are many things to consider when selecting pressure care products including nutrition, skin moisture, level of mobility, age, shear, friction, location of pressure ulcer (if present) and hygiene. Due to the small size of the cells, these pads may be positioned or fixed onto surfaces where thicker padding is not desired.
Short Description
A neoprene rubber pad with sealed air cells to protect and cushion bony parts of the body. It can be cut in sections to fit onto flat or contoured surfaces such as armrests or sides of wheelchairs, trays, headrests, footrests or anywhere the body may need protection. The adaptor pad can be used to cushion bony parts of the body such as heels, wrists, ears, elbows, chest, head or feet. It is not recommended as a sole supporting surface under the buttocks.
