Short Description
The Action Ranger Power Wheelchair is available as a front wheel drive, mid wheel drive and a rear wheel drive. The seating on the front and mid wheel drives can be slung upholstery or a padded Captain seat. The rear wheel drive features slung upholstery. A joystick control with an MKIV-RII control system is standard with this wheelchair .

Three joystick attachment positions.
Nine item performance adjustments including forward speed, turning speed, acceleration, sensitivity, torque, joystick throw, reverse speed, braking and energy saver.
Four preset program options.
Full calibration menu.
Closed loop system to help maintain speed and direction.
Dynamic braking with regeneration.
Automatic motor locks.
Clutch for freewheeling.
Able to climb a 9 degree incline.

Standard and Basic Models
The Ranger II wheelchair is available in a standard or basic model.
The standard model features a higher load capacity than the basic as it features a vertical frame brace.
The standard has a folding frame, utilises a four pole drive train and certain configurations can be combined with Invacare powered seating systems.
The standard has MKIV-RII electronics allowing for upgrades to higher level electronics for using switch options.
The Ranger II basic is the economy version, and offers many features of the standard, but has a lower speed and weight limit and a control system which does not allow upgrades to use switch options.
A light duty package is also available for the rear and mid wheel drive configurations, with smaller batteries with a driving range of 30 percent less for the light to moderate power wheelchair user.

Captain Seat
The high back captain seat features a back height of 508mm, full recline to 170 degrees and an adjustable lumbar support by a knob on the side of the seat. It features flip back armrests, the option of a headrest and a drive lockout that prevents driving while at more than 115 degrees of recline.
The low back captain seat offers recline up to 114 degrees, flip back armrests and an optional backrest extension.
The low back captain seat can be ordered with a solid seat base to accommodate pressure relieving cushions. Low back captain seats are available in fabric or vinyl upholstery. The high back captain seat is upholstered in fabric on the front of the seat and vinyl along the sides.

Colours
5 shroud colours with a Duraglaze finish are available being red, plum, green, sliver and blue.

Front turning radius as low as 342mm and a full turning radius as low as 634mm.
No front stabilisers.
Flip up battery tray which remains on the wheelchair.
Available with captain seats or slung upholstery.

Telescoping front rigging attachment for seat depth adjustment on the slung upholstery model. This model also features an angle adjustable backrest of 85 to 105 degrees in 5 degree increments. It has flip back removable armrests and adjustable height backrest.
8 amp, dual mode remote automatic battery charger.
Options include swing away front footplates and an oxygen bottle carrier.

Optional features include an oxygen bottle holder and a range of swing away front riggings.
