Factors to Consider
The front castors are able to swivel. This may affect the options for footplates so the castors do not hit them when turning. Various options are available, but it may be difficult to have swing away footplates in a position close to the base.
As the front castors swivel, they may provide more stability on a downward slope in comparison to fixed anti tippers on the front of some other mid wheel drives.
Most parts of this wheelchair base and seating can be custom made for individual requirements.
A number of controller options and positions are available.
This item should be trialled in the user's own environment to ensure maximum safety and independence. Environmental considerations include eg: kerbs, footpaths, tram and railway crossings, street crossings, etc.
