Factors to Consider
Audible message that details the weight of contents in the bowl, makes this item suitable for a user who is blind or visually impaired.
The on/off button is only slightly raised and is not well contrasted with the base unit. A visually impaired user may need a tactile marker attached to the button for easy identification.


Short Description
Talking kitchen scales that consist of a base unit and plastic measuring bowl. There is an on/off push button on the right hand side of the base unit, but no visual display of measurements. A computer generated digital voice details the weight of contents in the bowl. The voice has an English accent and is male. The unit is battery operated but a power plug pack is available as an option.
