Factors to Consider
May offer protection for those with thin skin during manual handling or daily living activities.
For those who are immobile, these may protect the skin against friction.
This protection may be useful for those with circulatory issues or diabetes, where skin tears may take time to heal. Although these are designed to have a snug fit, care should be taken they are not too tight.
Can assist to keep the user warm, and can fit under most clothing.
Short Description
A lightweight, foam filled pad designed to provide some protection against trauma and skin tears between the knee and the ankle. They are covered with an off white soft polyester cotton interlock fabric and fasten with two soft beige hook and loop (Velcro) foam straps that can be cut to length. Available in one standard size and sold as a pair. Custom made orders are available upon request.
