Assisting to stand

Factors to Consider
The weight capacity of this product may be reduced if the user applies weight unevenly, forcefully or positions the chair unevenly.
When releasing the seat to assist to stand, the user must ensure they do so by placement of their arms on the outside of the armrests, to prevent their arm becoming trapped when the seat rises.
The user needs to be able to weight bear to use this item.

Short Description
This height adjustable commode chair features a plastic seat with a spring mechanism which when released assists a person to a standing position. The handle is positioned on the side of the seat to unlock the seat. There is the choice of five weight range settings to lift from 35 to 105 kilograms. The seat automatically locks into place when fully depressed.

Method Of Use
Sit on raised seat and when lowered it automatically locks in place
To stand, press down on the seat release lever.
Using both hands for support, the user shifts forward and begins to stand. The lifting mechanism activates automatically and aims to provide a gentle lift from the commode.
