Factors to Consider
The weight capacity of this product may be reduced if the user applies weight unevenly, forcefully or positions the chair unevenly.
Adjustable seat height and angle may assist in transferring on and off the seat, as well as in and out of a shower recess where space is restricted.
Users may find it difficult to operate the push button mechanism of the adjustable legs.
This seat can be raised further using an optional seat raiser, which may be beneficial for those who are tall, or may have difficulty standing.
Short Description
The Myco swivel shower chair may be suitable for users requiring the support of a chair whilst showering. This chair features a one piece plastic seat and backrest mounted on a mild steel frame. The seat rotates on the frame and can be locked into four positions. The seat height may be raised or lowered by adjusting leg length.
More Details
Frame
Frame is constructed of mild steel and finished with a white powder coat. The frame consists of two separate pieces, which fits together to mount the swivel seat to the base frame.
The swivel seat has armrests mounted to the seat support. A stem extends from the support which inserts into the base frame. The lever is mounted on the stem. The base frame has four legs which come together to create the mounting point.
Adjustable seat height and angle may assist user in transferring on and off the seat, as well as in and out of a shower recess where space is restricted.
Dismantles into two parts to assist in storage and transportation.

White powder coat.

Legs
Legs have adjustable increments, with four adjustment options.
Individual leg length is adjusted by pushing a button on the leg, then setting the required leg length to achieve the appropriate seat height and angle.
Ferrules are non slip rubber ferrules on the end on each leg.
Seat and Backrest
The chair is a contoured plastic one piece seat and backrest.
The backrest has cut outs for drainage, whilst the seat has smaller diamond shaped cut outs.
Swivel Mechanism
The seat rotates on the frame by lifting a lever at the side of the seat, then swivelling the seat and locking the seat into place by releasing the lever.
The seat can swivel through 360 degrees, whilst the user is seated. There is a locking site at every 90 degree interval and the lever is positioned on the right hand side of the chair.
The lever cannot be switched over to the left hand side but can be ordered through the supplier.
