Factors to Consider
The weight capacity of this product may be reduced if the user applies weight unevenly, forcefully or positions the chair unevenly.
The open armrest design may be helpful for users requiring additional room at the sides
Users with weak hands may find it difficult to operate the push button mechanism on the adjustable legs.


Short Description
A shower chair consists of a one piece plastic seat and backrest, mounted on a steel frame. Features of this chair include open armrests that extend from the rear of the frame, adjustable length legs with enlarged adjustment buttons and a sealed frame.

More Details
Frame
The frame is constructed of tubular steel and consists of a seat mount, arm rests and legs.
Lifecare states that the legs are composed of rust free aluminium.

Frame Finish
The frame is finished in a white powder coat.

Legs
The legs have adjustable increments, with six adjustment options.
Individual leg length is adjusted by pushing a button, then setting the required leg length to achieve the appropriate seat height and angle.
Lifecare states that the adjustment buttons are extra large, non rust buttons.
A non slip rubber ferrule with an individual drainage hole is on the end of each leg.

Seat
Contoured plastic one piece seat and backrest.
The backrest has nine rectangular cut outs for drainage, whilst the seat has smaller drainage slats.
The chair is mounted to the frame underneath the seat.

Armrests
The armrests are an open design and extend from from the rear of the frame.
The armrests extend to be approximately level with the front seat lip.
A narrow support strut extends from the armrest to the seat frame, but does not impede the open armrest design.
