A project for the integration of people with a disability into the sport and recreation of sailing.
The Sailability plan addresses a number of major areas, including;
- Management and infrastructure
- coach and official education
- talent identification and development
- national competition
- international competition and Paralympics
In Tasmania, the Sailability program is under the auspices of the Tasmanian Yachting Association and has access to adapted boats from the mainland and hopes to purchase its own in time.
